whats the difference ba between a copyrighted movie, music or a magazine (or any printed media or even a document)? Shocked

these magazines are copyrighted - printed and published for profit otherwise the publishers could just have given a link on their site and let everyone download it for free. our forum rules is against giving away links to download movies and/or music here in public diba.

anyways, im only suggesting to remove the links. this isnt the first thread to give links to mags, meron pa yung ibang mga ebooks and training videos/softwares diba.

remind ko na lang din, merong Members Only section on pinoygeek in case anybodys having the itch.hehe

there is no clear cut rule here forbidding me to post these mags...I checked the rules before I made this topic.

I know its copyrighted material...(but we are in the Philippines and stuff like these proliferates in this country-remember?)

wala talagang malinaw na rules na ganyan dito sa PinoyDSL dahil noon paman iniimplement ng admin ang Self Moderation. Noong una akong sumali dito napansin ko na wala ngang mga ganyan sa rules at parang ang luwag pero syempre nasa atin na yun alam naman natin kung ano ang illegal at hindi illegal eh wag na nating ilusot porket lulusot di na nga tayo hinihigpitan pero wag natin abusuhin.

its not only about software piracy that is not being tolerated here!

okay there is no (explicit) rule that stop you from posting links (whatever kind of link that may be direct, torrent etc) about *magazines* (and the likes) but the way i understand it, dslmaster sort of implied that in the p2p rules.

its only in my own understanding that it is wrong to post any copyrighted material here by virtue of the P2P rules. and whether posting pdf copies of these mags should be prohibited as well, i leave that to the admins decision.

btw, cant you just give the links via PM? im no holier than anybody here, i give (and ask) links to pirated stuffs as well. i PM those who request for it and I DONT EVEN ADVERTISE IT, I DONT EVEN POST ON THE THREAD TO LET OTHERS KNOW ABOUT IT.

dahil sa pag kakaintindi ko dati pang mag ganitong rule dito sa pinoyDSL
...kaso mid of this year "may mga" bagong members at "datihang members" na medyo na kalimutan i respeto ang rule and regulation.
wala na kasi yung dating kopya ng rules ang regulation
....pagkakaintindi ko dati ni pag copy at paste ng isang boung article ay bawal
....yan pa kayang magbigay ka ng link ng isang software or magazine na makukuha mo sya ng illegal.

Kaya yan pina-ngaralanan ulit tayong lahat (Mod or member lang) ni dslmaster reguarding this rules noong Nov. 2007... kasi karamihan ay nakakalimut na.

Kung nag Violate ka man or hindi better ask DSLmaster ....mahirap magbuhat ng sariling bangko dude.

wag na pag awayan ang isang napakaliit na bagay... if previous posts will not edit by the poster its now up for you guys who have the capability to do the editing... sometimes yan ang extra work nang isang moderator - ang mag modify ng posts na di tugma sa rules and not to just report or give a warning kaagad.... kung meron violation wag naman kaagad warning, not unless na ayaw talaga paawat sa pag post ng against the rules, siguro 2nd violation shall earn a warning.... etc etc

their mentality is really way out of this world igor ! buti ka pa sensible yung point mo...e tong mga to...yan lang ang paraan niyan para patahimikin ako ..to give me successive warnings and then ban me...huhuhu!

alam mo kung may violation ako...wala sana kaming paguusapan e..baka mag apologize pa ko...
