Yes, pero extra monthly charge siya. Php770/month, afaik. Call them up nalang at 211 and ask.

^^If he is behind the Globe TransProxy, that won't help.

Either he disconnects and re-connects multiple times until he gets a non-TP IP, or get a static IP which is free of that restriction.

@TS, can do a quick test? Go to www.whatismyip.com and take note of the IP address shown there. Then, login ka sa modem or router GUI mo and see your WAN ip address doon. If they two do not match, then you are behind the TP and it causes the problem you describe.

that's true .. pero ang sabi nya eh ung tungkol sa torrent .. siguro pag public torrent, pwede port forward .. pero me ibang private torrent, minsan magiging yellow .. pero i dunno .. the only time that i encounter that 'yellow' exclamation point is when a port is not forwarded sa router ko or talagang nde maka-establish ng connection dun sa trackers/seeders ..

^^But shouldn't private torrents perform better because of better seed/leecher ratio? To the torrent client, afaik transparent naman sa kaniya kung naka private or public torrents ka. It won't really matter to it. The "connection" indicator has more to do with the network or connection quality between your torrent client and the peer network.

^^ technically it should .. pero sa case ko sa isang private torrent, downloading is fast (green indicator for utorrent) .. once it's finished downloading and i start sharing (to maintain the ratio), it reverts back to a yellow indicator .. of course, case-to-case basis 'to for private trackers .. basta yung isang site lang na member ako, ganun nangyayari kaya i gave up on that site ..
